Dorothy E. Siminovitch, PhD, MCC, is an international leadership, team, and organizational coach, mentor coach, speaker, and author. She is founder and principal of Gestalt Coaching Works, LLC.
Dorothy is known for her pioneering and evolutionary work with Gestalt coaching, and for promoting Awareness Intelligence (Awareness Q) as a critical leadership competency for 21st-century organizational and life challenges. She co-founded the Gestalt Center for Coaching, whose flagship offering is the ICF-ACTP Gestalt Coaching Program, which she serves as co-chair, Director of Training, and faculty. In her recent book, A Gestalt Coaching Primer: The Path Toward Awareness IQ, Dorothy identifies masterful use of self as being able to discern what clients need in the moment, to support exploration of their wants and needs, and to assist clients in self-determining their possible courses of action. She is co-author of Awareness20/20™, a leadership awareness assessment instrument which assists executives in understanding how they are perceived in their awareness skills. Her signature workshops are leadership presence, gestalt group and team facilitation.
