Movlan Pashayev has over 20 years of experience serving clients in various industries as their business advisor. His knowledge of Azerbaijan’s market and legislation brings an extensive expertise in resolving complex issues companies and individuals encounter in Azerbaijan and the wider Caspian region. Movlan Pashayev’s international experience includes a secondment in PwC’s London office where he worked in the Energy, Mining and Utilities Group. Movlan has long been involved in supporting the government in modernizing and reforming the investment climate and legislative regime of Azerbaijan. He has been a member of the various working groups of the Azerbaijan Government for the drafting and implementation of new legislation.
Movlan Pashayev’s other activities include serving in the Board of Directors the American Chamber of Commerce, ADA Business School and ADA Foundation. He is a professor of taxation and international law at the Law School of the Baku State University, and Legal and Ethical Environment at ADA University.
Movlan Pashayev is a regular speaker at various international conferences and seminars and is an author of a number of articles and chapters in several specialized books and publications.
